Sunshine on My Nose Job – Quick Survey on Medical Tourism

Blogging pays off!  I just stated last week that I was on the quest to work abroad. Ironically, a friend came to me with an opportunity for an international client but hadn’t read the blog. (Tsk-Tsk, she better have subscribed by now!)

I am a fan of plastic surgery and my friend, the new blog subscriber, brought the term ‘Medical Tourism’ to my attention. Medical Tourism is patient movement from highly developed nations to other areas of the world for medical care, usually to find treatment at a lower cost.

I was intrigued immediately but was curious what the general public would think about it.

As stated in one of my first blogs back in September,, I think you should do what YOU want, not what society or cool girls/guys dictate, but what will be the appropriate elective changes that make YOU feel great. That being said, judgment by others is inevitable. Be strong no matter what choices you make. It is your own life to live!
